GladAfrica Foundation Projects

The South African government is the largest contributor to social development in communities throughout South Africa. Despite many stirling efforts in this regard, the extent of our poverty-encumbered population remains unacceptable. After 20 years of democracy, it is evident that the government alone cannot eradicate poverty.

We are into

Changing lives

The GladAfrica Foundation has been established as a vehicle for changing lives and improving community well-being to help address the scourge of poverty and break the cycle of dis-empowerment and inability of our people to live better lives.

South Africa’s social-economic needs offer more than enough scope for organisations, such as the Foundation, to assist with uplifting and empowering those living in previously disadvantaged communities. There is a dire need for assistance in classrooms filled with children that left home without a meal, to demotivated teachers no longer inspired to reach out to each child, grandmothers who can no longer fetch water or care for themselves, mothers who do not know where the next meal will come from and communities who have lost their sense of identity, moral integrity and values due to poverty.

GladAfrica Foundation

Poverty is a trigger for many of the challenges faced by millions every day in communities nation-wide. These include drug and alcohol abuse, school absenteeism and especially, the lack of education.

Our economy will grow only when our classrooms deliver learners with the ability to participate fully in the economy and when the attitude of learners and teachers alike embrace, foster and value education as an imperative to achieve meaningful development, growth and prosperity.

We believe that our vision of building relationships to create leaders committed to breaking the barriers to prosperity and entrepreneurs passionate about contributing to a society free from the chains of state dependence and poverty, is robust.

Our passion is to empower our schools with the resources and tools to embed a culture of learning and engender a will to succeed in every learner.

Passionately involved in all our Projects.
