The Foundation nurtures and empowers bursary participants to achieve their academic potential through access to higher education, assisting them in progressing from rural roots, into tertiary education, through to graduation and upward mobility into a solid career with economic sustainability.
Bursaries
With our Bursary Programme, our core focus is improving access to tertiary education, which lies at the heart of transforming the societal cycle of poverty in South Africa. Our collective aim is to empower learners and their communities to initiate and build sustainable projects that create opportunities for themselves and their people.
We offer bursaries to qualifying students in Engineering and Environmental management to qualifying individuals selected from marginalised and disadvantaged communities who would otherwise not have access to higher education.

Qualifying criteria:
- You need to be a South African citizen
- You need to have applied and been accepted at a University in South Africa for a Degree.
- We only accept bursary applications that plan to study BSc Engineering in the following fields:
- Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering and Environmental Management
- Obtained a minimum of 70% for Mathematics and Physical Science on a higher grade
- Must not have obtained financial assistance from any other financial institution
- Have a real financial need to further their studies
