Nelson Mandela International Day July 2014 – Meals in Memory

STOP HUNGER NOW SA, hosted an event at the Sandton Convention Center to pack 4520 meals to be distributed to destitute children in the country for a year.

The Foundation and the GladAfrica team were there to support the initiative, it was 60 minutes well spent by contributing our time to ensure that a child has a meal 3 times a day for the rest of the year.

It was amazing to learn how little it cost to feed a child, to ensure they too have a balanced meal and good health.
